Город Варна – морская столица Болгарии, крупнейший город на болгарском побережье Черного моря. Это третий по величине город Болгарии, а летом, благодаря притоку туристов, его население увеличивается по меньшей мере вдвое. И если зимой здесь насчитывается чуть более 400 тысяч жителей, то летом по официальной информации в городе проживает не менее миллиона человек (включая туристов и болгар, приехавших на заработки). Есть также данные, что в Варне проживает до 20 тысяч русских.
Варна – один из старейших и, несомненно, один из красивейших городов Болгарии. Лазурное море, золотые пляжи и цветущие сады привлекают сюда туристов изо всех уголков Европы. В то же время, это важный культурный, экономический и транспортный центр страны, и один из самых бурно развивающихся болгарских городов.
Бургас – второй по размеру черноморский порт Болгарии и четвертый город в стране по количеству населения. Он расположен в 133 км южнее Варны и в 385 км восточнее Софии, в глубине Бургасского залива. Население Бургаса – более 300 тысяч человек.
Город является важнейшим транспортным центром юго-востока Болгарии, помимо крупного морского порта здесь расположены международный аэропорт, железнодорожный и авто- вокзалы.
Морская бухта Бургаса имеет прекрасные песочные пляжи, доходящие в ширину до 100 м, берег с ровным пологим дном и спокойной чистой морской водой. Летняя погода в Бургасе, как и вообще на южном побережье Болгарии, идеальна для принятия солнечных ванн и купания в море. Температура воздуха в жаркие летние дни – от 25 до 30 градусов, температура воды – около +25.

Varna is one of the oldest and, undoubtedly, one of the most beautiful cities in Bulgaria. The azure sea, golden beaches and flowering gardens attract tourists from all corners of Europe. At the same time, it is an important cultural, economic and transport center of the country, and one of the most rapidly developing Bulgarian cities.
Burgas is Bulgaria’s second-largest Black Sea port and the fourth largest city in the country in terms of population. It is located 133 km south of Varna and 385 km east of Sofia, in the depth of the Burgas Bay. The population of Burgas is more than 300 thousand people.
The city is the most important transport center of southeastern Bulgaria, besides a large sea port, there are an international airport, a railway and a bus station.
The sea bay of Bourgas has beautiful sandy beaches, reaching a width of up to 100 m, the shore with an even flat bottom and calm clean sea water. Summer weather in Burgas, as well as in general on the southern coast of Bulgaria, is ideal for sunbathing and swimming in the sea. The temperature of the air on hot summer days is from 25 to 35 degrees, the water temperature is about +25.
